What They’re Saying About Us
Frequently Asked Questions
These areas can be uncomfortable due to poor posture, muscle imbalances, joint restrictions, movement dysfunction, or a combination of a number of factors. We don’t assume and do a thorough assessment to find out where your pain is really coming from so the treatment can be directed at the cause, not just the symptoms.
Absolutely. We treat sports-related injuries to the spine, the upper extremities and the lower extremities. Our treatment combines manual therapy, movement retraining, and progressive strengthening to help reduce discomfort, restore mobility, and safely guide you back to sports and other physical activities.
At Olympus Sports Therapy, we combine several treatment approaches into one individualized program. To help you recover and function long term, we use a combination of chiropractic spinal adjustments and manual soft tissue therapy along with individualized rehabilitation exercises and performance training, not one technique.
We also emphasize patient education so you know how to take care of your body, maintain your results and reduce the chance of injuries recurring.
Your first appointment is a free 60 min consultation to learn about your condition and how you move better. We’ll look at your symptoms, discuss your goals, assess how your body moves and find out what factors are contributing to your pain. Once we have completed the assessment, we will discuss our findings with you and recommend the most appropriate treatment plan going forward.
The frequency of your treatment will depend on the nature of your injury, your goals for recovery and how your body responds to care. After your first evaluation, we will discuss the anticipated course of treatment, but many patients experience a dramatic improvement after only a few visits.
