What They’re Saying About Us
Frequently Asked Questions
Causes of pain in the lower back, neck or shoulders can be due to spinal misalignment, tightness of the muscles, faulty movement mechanics, or a combination of these issues. We do a comprehensive assessment to find the source of the problem rather than just treating the symptoms so we can devise a treatment plan that will allow you to heal faster and stay healed longer.
Yes. We help athletes, active adults and fitness enthusiasts return to the activities they love, while treating injuries to the spine, upper body and lower body. We treat a vast array of sports injuries with a combination of manual therapy, corrective movement, and progressive rehabilitation exercises to decrease pain, restore function and improve overall performance.
At Olympus Sports Therapy, we don’t just have one method of treatment, we take a holistic approach. Our approach includes spinal manipulation to improve joint function, manual therapy to loosen soft tissue restrictions, rehabilitation exercises to restore strength and stability, and performance training to help you move more efficiently in sports and daily life.
Furthermore, we will educate you about your body not only to help you maintain your progress but also to decrease your risk of future injury.
Your first appointment is free and normally lasts an hour. During this appointment we’ll discuss your symptoms, discover what makes them worse and learn about your activity or training goals. We then perform a movement assessment to evaluate mobility, strength, control and sport-specific movement patterns and then explain our findings and a personalized recovery plan.
The number of visits is different for each person because every recovery plan is tailored to your personal condition, goals and response to treatment. Most patients start to see improvements within the first few sessions. After your initial assessment, we will provide a recommended treatment plan and estimated recovery timeline.
